This marks the fifth time Fare has earned weekly honor this year and second of the 2025 outdoor season, while Fusco picks up her career weekly honor.
Fusco, a redshirt freshman from Durant, Iowa, recorded a career-best time of 59.26 second in the 400-meter hurdles at the Musco Twilight, the fourth-fastest time in program history, while also becoming one of five Panther athletes to run the event in under one minute. She also ran the lead-off leg of Northern Iowa's second-place 4x400-meter relay team (3:54.67). Fusco currently leads the MVC with the fastest time in the 400-meter hurdles this year.

She also ranks fourth in the MVC in the hammer throw.
Southern Illinois' Shane Ashton was named the recipient of the MVC Men's Track Athlete of the Week award, while Indiana State's Will Staggs earned men's field recognition.
