UNI men’s golf heads to Missouri to take on the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI men's golf heads into familiar territory starting Monday morning as the Panthers head to Southwest Missouri to compete at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate, hosted by Missouri State University.
The 54-hole tournament will be contested over two days, 36 holes on Monday, March 17 and 18 on Tuesday, March 18 with both days scheduled for 8:30 a.m. CT shotgun starts.
Playing at the par-71, 6,760-yard Twin Oaks Country Club, UNI will face off against 11 other opponents including Missouri State, Bradley, Southern Utah, Arkansas Pine Bluff, Western Illinois, Southern Indiana, So. Illinois Edwardsville, Eastern Illinois, Omaha, Lindenwood, and Evangel.
The UNI men are coming off a third-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Boulder Creek, Nevada. Senior JD Pollard led the Panthers in a tie for fourth place with a score of 217 (+1), sinking an eagle in round one. Connor Vanweelden placed seventh shooting a 220 (+4) with two eagles. Sophomore Tanner Dinnerbier shot a 230 (+14) to finish 24th place.
Nile Petersen finished in a four-way tie for 29th place with a total score of 232 (+16). Calen Bishop placed 43rd, while Cooper Hanson tied for 61st in their last outing.
