Jensen leads UNI women’s golf to a ninth-place finish at the Jackrabbit Invitational

BOULDER CITY, Nev. --- The UNI women's golf team rounded out play at the Jackrabbit Invitational on Tuesday afternoon, hosted by South Dakota State with a ninth-place finish.
Northern Iowa shot a team score of 913 (+49) in the 15-team tournament with South Dakota State capturing the team title and their own Mckenzie Mages taking home the individual title carding a final score of 213 (-3).
The Panther ladies were led by Anna Jensen, who shot a final score of 218 (+2) to finish in a tie for fifth place. Victoria Hualde finished in a three-way tie for 27th place shooting 226 (+10) with seven birdies and 14 bogeys across the two-day event. Freshman Isabella Pettersen placed in a three-way tie for 49th with a score of 234 (+18).
McKenna Mallow finished in a three-way tie for 61st place with a final score of 239 (+23) with six birdies. Anna Nacos placed in a four-way tie for 71st scoring 245 (+29), shooting her best score of the competition in the first round with a 79 (+7). Rylie Driskell and Addison Berg, both competing as individuals placed 77th scoring 247 (+31) and in a tie for 86th place, carding a score of 259 (+43) respectively.

The Panthers return to action March 24-26 at the Ozarks National Invitational at the Ozarks National Golf Course in Branson, Missouri.
