MEN'S FINAL RESULTS WOMEN'S FINAL RESULTS

SILVIS, Ill. --- UNI's JD Pollard and Anna Jensen led the way for the UNI men's and women's golf teams as both Panther squads wrapped up play at the WIU Intercollegiate on Saturday afternoon at TPC Deere Run in the Quad Cities area.

The UNI men finished in second place overall out of eight teams shooting a final team score of 881 (+29), while the Panther women finished in a tie for fourth shooting 937 (+85).

Pollard, carding a total of 216 (+3), putting together three solid rounds of 71 (E), 72 (+1), and 73 (+2). Griffin Parker followed Pollard with a score of 219 (+6), carding rounds of 69 (-2), 78 (+7), and 72 (+1) finishing in a tie for sixth.

Nile Petersen, who competed as an individual for the UNI men, tied for ninth place shooting 220 (+7) with rounds of 70 (-1), 75 (+4), and 75 (+4). Connor Van Weelden followed right behind in a tie for 11th, carding a 221 (+8) bringing in rounds of 74 (+3), 74 (+3), and 73 (+2). Brock Seiser meanwhile tied for 24th place with a score of 226 (+13). Tanner Dinnibier placed in a tie for 40th shooting 237 (+29).

On the women's side of the action, Jensen led Northern Iowa by finishing in a tie for fourth place individually after carding a 223 (+10) with rounds of 77 (+6), 73 (+2), and 73 (+2). Following Jensen was Victoria Hualde, who finished in a tie for 11th carding a 231 (+18).

Addison Berg tied for 28th on the leaderboard carding a 243 (+30), scoring rounds of 84 (+13), 80 (+9), and 79 (+8). Allison Nuss meanwhile competed as an individual and also finished in a tie with Addie for 28th putting together rounds of 80 (+9), 81 (+10), and 82 (+11).

Following closely behind were Anna Nacos and McKenna Mallow, who both carded a 244 (+31). Nacos recorded rounds of 85 (+14), 80 (+9), and 79 (+8), with Mallow posting scores of 81 (+10), 83 (+12), and 80 (+9).

UP NEXT
The Panther men and women have a quick turnaround and will both head to Omaha, Nebraska for the Stampede at the Creek on Monday and Tuesday in their final tournaments ahead of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championships.
