SUNRISE BEACH, Mo. --- The UNI men's golf team wrapped up the 2023-24 season on Tuesday afternoon, placing tenth at the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championships at The Club at Porto Cima, shooting a total team score of 914 (+50).

After a tough second round on Monday, the Panthers faced another difficult day on the course with a combined 304, finishing three strokes behind ninth-place Bradley. Southern Illinois claimed the team title with a score of 856 (-8), eight strokes ahead of runner-up and host Missouri State. SIU's Edouard Cereto captured the individual tournament title with a 209 (-7).

JD Pollard finished in a tie for 18th place individually after shooting a score of 222 (+6) with a final round of 72 (E). Griffin Parker stayed consistent throughout the week, carded a final round of 76 (+4) as he did in Sunday's opening, finishing his final collegiate competition in a tie for 30th place with a final score of 227 (+11).

Connor Van Weelden finished the day with a 79 (+7), ending the week in a tie for 36th place. Tanner Dinnebier concluded his first MVC Championship with an 81 (+9) in the third round placing him in 45th and a total score of 238 (+22). Nile Petersen, who entered the Panther lineup on Monday in place of Brock Seiser, shot a 78 (+6) to round out the UNI field.
