FINAL RESULTS

NORMAL, Ill. — A quintet of Panthers tee off the 2023-24 UNI women's golf season in style as three Panthers placed within the top-50 following the final round of the 2023 Redbird Invite at the D.A. Weibring Golf Course on Monday afternoon.

In a large field of 16 teams, UNI finished in ninth place with a team score of 907 (+43). Bradley claimed the team title with a 865 (+1), finishing one stroke ahead of host Illinois State with 866 (+2). Grace Aromando of Bradley clinched the individual title carding a 200 (-16).

Senior Anna Jensen led the way for the Panthers with a 13th place individual finish, shooting a 70 (-1) in Sunday's opening round to score 220 (+4) for the tournament. Jensen sank ten birdies over the course of the two-day competition and notched 32 pars. Last September, Jensen tied for 54th place at the Redbird Invite with a 238 (+22) and averaged a team-best 79.58 per round.

Victoria Hualde took 30th place after shooting a 73 (+2) in the final round, bouncing back from a tough second round score of 78 (+7), finishing with a 225 (+9). Anna Nacos finished with a 229 (+13) in 47th place, carding a 75 (+4) in Sunday morning's first round.

Addison Berg placed 65th in her collegiate debut with the Panthers, scoring 78 (+7) in each of her final two rounds for a final score of 235 (+19). Allison Nuss meanwhile took 69th place, scoring a 77 (+6) in the opening round and finishing with a 236 (+20).

The Panthers return to competition Sept. 18-19 at the Murray State Invite in Paducah, Kentucky at the Country Club of Paducah.
