Parker and Van Weelden sink second round eagles as Panthers finish in seventh place.

OZARK, Mo. --- Griffin Parker finished tied for 10th after shooting even par, leading the way for the Panthers at the Missouri State Intercollegiate at Millwood Golf Course. The Panthers placed 7th overall in a 15-team field with an overall score of 881 (+29).

Oral Roberts clinched the team title with a total score of 854 (+2), with Brandon Hoff (ORU) finishing atop the leaderboard after scoring a 208 (-5) in the three-round tournament.

Playing a consistent three rounds on Monday and Tuesday, Parker shot an even par score of 71 in the first and third rounds, with a 73 (+2) during Monday's second round. Connor Van Weelden overcame a difficult first round on Monday shooting 79 (+8) to score par in the second round with an eagle on hole 2, and -1 in the final round (70) with 4 birdies to tie for 26th place.

JD Pollard tied a season-best round shooting 71 (E) in the first round on Monday as part of a final score of 223 (+10) to tie for 36th. Notching three birdies and an eagle in the second round, Tommy Doyle finished tied for 41st place with a final total of 224 (+11). Thomas Storbeck tied for 75th with 4 birdies on Monday in the second round, finishing with a total score of 242 (+29).
