Panther women's golf finishes in fifth at Bradley's Coyote Creek Classic

BARTONVILLE, Ill — UNI women's golf wrapped up its second meet of the week on Sunday afternoon as the Panthers took home fifth place at Bradley's Coyote Creek Classic at the Coyote Creek Golf Club in central Illinois.
Bradley took home the team title with a final score of 897 with Illinois State finishing as runner-up (905). Jinyoung Yun (Illinois State) claimed the individual title with a score of 216 (E).
The Panthers placed three athletes in the top-25 with Allison Nuss leading the way for the purple and gold in a tie for 17th place, shooting a 234 (+18) with a season-best round of 76 (+4) in Saturday's second round. Anna Jensen tied for 22nd place after carding a 237 (+21) with an eagle on the 14th hole of Saturday's opening round. Victoria Hualde also tied for 22nd with a 237.
Addison Berg, competing as an individual for a second consecutive meet, tied for 34th place after carding an 80 (+8) and three total birdies on the weekend. Anna Nacos secured a tie for 37th place, bouncing back after a difficult opening round for consecutive rounds of 81 (+9) to finish with a final score of 253 (+37). McKenna Mallow closed the weekend with a strong final round on Sunday with an 81 to take 44th place with a 263 (+47).
UP NEXT
UNI will close out the fall portion of its schedule at Evansville's Charles Braun Invite at the Oak Meadow Country Club, Oct. 23-24 in southern Indiana.
