CEDAR FALLS, IOWA -- The 2022 campaign kicks off this week for UNI soccer with a less seen in-state opponent.

UNI soccer begins their 2022 season with an inter-athletic association matchup against the NAIA Grand View Vikings. It's only the third time the two teams have met after a home and home series in 2013 and 2014.

The Panthers have a unique schedule this season, playing all eight of their non-conference contests at home. With a new field in UNI Soccer Field debuted in 2021, the Panthers will have plenty of chances to continue breaking in the new ground. Along with hosting their entire non-conference schedule, UNI will play 12 games at home, the most home contests since the program's inception in 2000.

Parking will be a little different at UNI Soccer Field this season. With 27th Street closed for construction, fans will enter on 22nd Street and park in the grass to the left of 22nd, across from the old softball field. Additional parking will be available in the West UNI-Dome lot.
