
UNI women's golf preps for Diane Daugherty Invitational

UNI women's golf at Diane Daugherty Invite
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - The UNI women's golf team will compete at the Diane Daugherty Invitational in St. Charles, Missouri, March 28-29.Â
Southern Illinois University will host at Bogey Hills Country Club, a par 71 course playing at 5,987 yards. The women will play 36 holes March 28 and 18 on March 29.Â
The tournament is named after Saluki Hall of Fame Women's Golf Coach Diane Daugherty. The Panthers placed 12th in this tournament last spring when it was hosted at Greenbriar Hills Country Club.Â
Hannah Bermel led UNI at the first tournament of the season with a top-20 finish, carding a 76, 69 and 74. Bermel, along with Madison Humke, Allison Nuss, Anna Jensen, and Rylie Driskell will compete in the invite.
The tournament will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday with the final round starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The field consists of Ball State, Belmont University, Creighton, Bradley, Indiana State, Loyola, Drake, South Dakota, Valparaiso and Western Michigan.
