CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - UNI women's tennis fell to Big 10's Minnesota and North Dakota University in two days of competition in Minnesota.

The highlight of the match against Minnesota was Lorena Cardoso. She lost the first set with only one break down, 6-4, and lost the second set 6-2. Due to injuries, they had to forfeit the No. 6 spot again.

In the doubles play, Junior Thaissa Moreira and Sophomore Andrijana Brkic got the first win of the year for the team, 6-4, playing in the No. 2 spot. Issa Sullivan, Darta Dalecka and Cardoso all had close matches in singles, with partials of 6-4 6-3, 6-2 6-4 and 6-2 6-4 respectively.
