UNI women's tennis sweeps Grinnell College

WATERLOO, Iowa – UNI women's tennis swept Grinnell College, 7-0
The Panthers had a great performance today, winning all the matches, doubles and singles. UNI handed Grinnell College its first loss of the season, ending the Pioneers' the 10-match streak. UNI improved to 2-6.
Freshman Darta Dalecka won her match to set a four-match win streak, winning all her singles matches this weekend and past weekend. Emma Carr coming off a shoulder injury was able to get the win playing on spot No. 3. Lorena Cardoso, Andrijana Brkic, Thaissa Moreira and Issa Sullivan won in straight sets. Olivia Fain played an additional match winning, 8-3.
In doubles play, the Panthers also swept Grinnell, losing a total of three games in all three matches.
UP NEXT:
The Panthers travel to Des Moines March 4 to have their first Missouri Valley Conference encounter against last year's champion, Drake University. UNI will return home 11 a.m. March 6 playing against the Milwaukee Panthers.
