Message to fans from Athletic Director David Harris

Panther Nation,

On Saturday, Nov. 5th at 4 p.m. UNI Football hosts the #1 team in the country, the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. To say this game is important is an understatement. The Panthers are coming off a big road win over nationally-ranked Southern Illinois. The football program has successfully won five of the last six games and sets their eyes on securing another victory this weekend. The football game this weekend is critical to our chances of securing a playoff berth.

In order to give our team the best chance possible to win Saturday, we're going to need the help of every #EverLoyal fan to make the Dome an electric atmosphere. This includes packing the Dome with as many Panther fans as possible to give our team the home field advantage.

For the game on Saturday, we will honor our seniors and their families. We also will be showing our appreciation to veterans, military personnel, and first responders by offering them free tickets. For UNI students, we will have a $1,000 scholarship giveaway and free refills on the souvenir cups provided earlier this season.

Panther Scholarship members purple and above received a voucher for free tickets to this game as a show of appreciation for their support. Those who attended our basketball kickoff event earlier this fall, Main Street Madness, also received vouchers for a football game.
