Panthers Take on Loyola in First Conference Road Game

THIS WEEK'S ACTION:
Saturday, September 25th - Chicago, Illinois
UNI at Loyola - 4 p.m.
THE PANTHERS:
- The Panthers ended their non-conference season with a 2-0 win on Sunday afternoon against Kansas City.
- The Panthers had a balanced offensive attack on Sunday against Kansas City, as 6 separate players each recorded a shot through 90 minutes
- Thanks to a game on Friday with 4 shots on goal, Panther's forward Ashley Harrington now ranks 33rd in the country in shot accuracy among Division 1 players. Harrington's 0.65 ranks 3rd in the MVC as well.
- Freshman Maddie Eastus recorded her first collegiate goal this weekend against Kansas City in the Panthers non-conference finale on Sunday. Eastus goal helped the Panthers to a 2-0 shutout win over the Roo's, giving UNI it's second series lead over Kansas City and their first since 2009.
THE RAMBLERS:
- The Ramblers look to continue its perfect start to Missouri Valley Conference play when it welcomes Northern Iowa to Loyola Soccer Park on Saturday.
- Ramblers midfielder Abby Swanson found the back of the net with only five seconds remaining in regulation to send the Ramblers to a 2-1 win over Indiana State..
- Since the start of the 2018 season, Loyola is 13-2-0 (.867) against MVC foes at Loyola Soccer Park.
- Eight different Ramblers have found the back of the net through the first eight games of the 2021 season.
