Sydney Eaton Named MVC Co-Golfer of the Week

ST. LOUIS – UNI's Sydney Eaton was named MVC's Co-Golfer of the Week for her performances at the UNI Spring Invite and UNO Stampede at the Creek.

Eaton earned medalist honors with a final day 75 to shoot 222 at the UNI Spring Invite to help the Panthers finish second. Eaton also had a top-10 finish this weekend at UNO's Stampede at the Creek in Omaha, Neb., on the Red Feather/Blackbird - Indian Creek Golf Course. Teammates Emily Snelling and Hannah Bermel tied for third.

Eaton shares the Player of the Week honor with Missouri State's Brooke Newell and Bradley's Taylor Ledwein, each winning their own respective tournaments. This is the second week in a row a UNi women's golfer has been named Golfer of the Week (Hannah Bermel, April 8).
