This Weekend's Action:
The Panther softball team will be traveling to Chicago, Illinois to face off against the Ramblers of Loyola-Chicago Apr. 16 – Apr. 17. The Panthers will play three games over the weekend. Two will be played on Friday and one on Saturday.

The Panthers:

UNI defeated Iowa State in six short innings on Wednesday, April 14^th by a score of 10-2.

The Panthers win against the Cyclones pushed their win streak to seven games.

UNI has not lost in the month of April, beating their opponents a combined score of 83-18. While having a team batting average of .413 and holding their opponents to .261.

Bunch went 3-for-3, one home run, one triple, four RBI's, two runs, walked once, and was hit by pitch once against Iowa State. Bunch's home run pushed her single season home run total to eighteen, which is now a UNI single season record. Bunch previously held the record herself with seventeen. She also is tied for 4^th in the Missouri Valley Conference for a single season, only six home runs behind leader Renae Sinkler of Creighton (2010). In her career Bunch is tied for 2^nd with 55 home runs while only trailing three home runs behind Amy Baker of Creighton (2010 – 2013) in the Missouri Valley Conference.
