Kephart Lands on MVC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Missouri Valley Conference announced the 2020-21 Cross Country Scholar-Athlete Team on Wednesday. UNI junior Andrew Kephart landed on the men's academic team with a 3.61 GPA. Kephart is majoring in statistics and actuarial sciences.Â
The Decorah, Iowa native led the Panther men at the 2021 MVC Cross Country Championship in Evansville, Ind. on Mar. 3, stopping the clock at 25:56.8 to place 17th overall.Â
To receive MVC Scholar-Athlete honors, student-athletes must finish among the first 20 runners at the conference championship, maintain at least a cumulative 3.3 GPA, and be a sophomore in athletic and academic standing.Â
