UNI Wrestling at Grand View Open
CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI wrestling team will open its 2021-22 season at the Grand View Open.
Eight freshmen will kick off their redshirt season, wrestling unattached:Â
With the COVID-19 pandemic, most of the team didn't get a chance to compete in open tournaments for experience. Instead, many had to rely on exhibition matches on a side mat during the dual meets. This will be the first open tournament since the 2019-2020 season.
