
Panther Women's Hoops Travels to Indiana State, Evansville

UNI women's basketball travels to Indiana State and Evansville for two MVC road games. The Panthers are currently tied for fourth in the MVC with a 6-5 league record and are 14-8 overall. The Panthers are ranked 47th in the NCAA women's basketball RPI. The Panthers haven't lost a single game to an opponent ranked outside of the RPI Top-80. The Panthers are coming off of an overtime win over Southern Illinois Sunday in Cedar Falls.Â
• Indiana State is 3-20 on the year and 1-10 in MVC play. Their lone conference win was a home win over Evansville. Jamyra McChristine leads the Sycamores with 9.8 points and 6.2 rebounds per game.Â

• The Panthers are ranked seventh in the NCAA in free-throw percentage at 78.4%. UNI is also 19th in the NCAA with 8.4 three-pointers made per game.Â
• UNI has played in the postseason in nine of the last 10 seasons, including an appearance in the WNIT in 2019 where the Panthers met Minnesota in the first round.
• UNI played five games against Power-Five Opponents, the most among Missouri Valley Conference teams. The Panthers went 3-2 with wins over Iowa, Iowa State and Missouri.
