Panthers Close Out Cyclone Open

AMES, Iowa – Three Panthers and the women's 4x400-meter relay team earned first-place finishes to highlight the day at the Cyclone Open in Ames.
Auriona Kimbrough won the 400-meter run with a time of 56.91. She jumped into third place in the MVC for the season to-date, just .5 seconds off the league leader.
Brett Schneider won the women's 800-meter run with a time of 2:21.66 and the women's 4x400-meter relay team won with a time of 3:53.72.
Darius King won the shot put in a meet for the second consecutive day. He won the shot put with a tops of 61-feet-1.25. He led a group of Panthers that finished 1-2-3 with Kyler Yodts finishing second and William Blaser finishing third.

The Panthers travel to Iowa City Friday and Saturday for the Black & Gold Invite hosted by the University of Iowa.
