Panther Men Finish 11th, Women 13th at Griak Invite

Minneapolis - McKayla Cole made her first appearance this season and finished a team-high 36th with a time 22:34.9 to pace the UNI women's cross country team to a 13th-place finish. Wal Khat finished 31st with a time of 25:36.6 to the UNI men to an 11th place finish at the Griak invite in Minneapolis.

Freshman Cassady Inhs finished 60th with a time of 23:09.1 and Katie Nimrod placed 65th with a time of 23:14.1. Junior Tess Roorda finished the course in a time of 23:18.9 and sophomore Paige Holub closed out the scoring with a time of 23:32.0.

Sophomore Drake Henrichs was second for the Panthers, finishing 52nd with a time of 26:03.6. Junior Logan Murray finished 64th with a time of 26:24.6, sophomore Sam McCool finished with a time of 26:54.9. David Holesinger finished with a time of 27:55.1 and Addy Khalb finished with a time of 28:27.0.

The Panthers are off next week before traveling to the Bradley Classic on Friday, Oct. 18 in Peoria, Ill.
