A top-10 battle is on tap for the Panthers in Ogden, Utah as the No. 9/7 Panthers travel to face the No. 5/6 Weber State Wildcats at Stewart Stadium in Ogden, Utah. It is the first meeting of the two schools in nearly three decades. The Panthers lead the series 2-1. UNI and Weber State are tied for 12th in the FCS for scoring defense at 16.3 points per game allowed.

•The Panthers defense held Idaho State to just six points with no touchdowns to move to 2-1 on the year. Elerson Smith notched three sacks and was named the MVFC Player of the Week. Xavior Williams tallied four pass breakups. Offensively, Isaiah Weston scored his second TD of the year and Matthew Cook hit a pair of field goals to stay perfect on the season (8-8). For the season, Will McElvain is 57-93 for 621 yards, five touchdowns and no interceptions.

• The win over Southern Utah was Head coach Mark Farley's 150th career victory. He is the winningest coach in UNI and Missouri Valley Football History and the 10th coach in FCS history with 150 FCS victories.

• The UNI defense is proving to be one the best in the FCS. UNI is 12th in scoring defense, 17th in total defense, eighth in sacks, 22nd in interceptions and 21st in first down defense.

• Ten players have caught receptions so far this season Deion McShane is among the nation's leaders in receptions with 20. Isaiah Weston has 11 receptions, a team-high 189 yards and two touchdowns. Jaylin James has eight receptions for 107 yards and a score.

• The Panthers have seven touchdowns so far this season and a freshman was involved in every single TD. Redshirt freshman quarterback Will McElvain has six TD passes to his name and UNI's lone rushing TD came from true freshman Nick McCabe.

• After being named the STATS FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week in week one, Matthew Cook remains perfect at 8-8 on the season. He is also 7-7 in PATs for a team-high 31 points. He is 3-3 on the year on field goals over 40 yards.

• The Panthers have earned a Missouri Valley Player of the Week honor after each game this season. Cook was named the Special Teams Player of the Week after the Iowa State game, McElvain earned Newcomer of the Week honors after the Southern Utah game and Elerson G. Smith was named the Defensive Player of the Week after the Idaho State win.
