PANTHER SPORTS NETWORK
LEARFIELD's Panther Sports Properties produces game day radio broadcasts and special programming, syndicated on the Panther Sports Radio Network, which consists of multiple stations across the state of Iowa.
Panther Sports Properties also produces and syndicates a variety of live game telecasts throughout the season. The package includes multiple live television games that air throughout eastern and central Iowa. Check your local listings for more information.
UNI Athletics, Panther Sports Properties and Coloff Media announced a comprehensive multi-year broadcast agreement in July 2023 running through the 2025-26 athletic season.
All UNI football and men's basketball games are broadcast on its flagship station, KCVM FM 93.5 "The Mix" in Cedar Falls-Waterloo, with expanded radio coverage on KHAM FM 103.1 in Britt, Iowa and KCHA AM 1580/FM 103.3 in Charles City, Iowa.
Additionally, all Panther volleyball and women's basketball contests are exclusively broadcast on "Corn Country" 106.5 FM and 93.5 HD-2 in the Cedar Falls-Waterloo area. A full list of stations part of the Panther Sports Radio Network can be found below. Fans can also catch UNI games broadcast through their mobile devices through the UNI Panther app, as well as The Varsity Network through its online page and the mobile app.
On the headset, J.W. Cox enters his fourth year as UNI's Director of Broadcasting and play-by-play voice of Panther football and men's basketball. Former UNI letterwinner Scott Petersen also returns alongside Cox as football's color analyst, while former Iowa forward and UNI assistant coach Kevin Boyle returns to provide analysis for men's basketball. Volleyball and women's basketball broadcasts will be led by Chris Kleinhans-Schulz, who enters his 14th year with the Panthers.
