Panthers Move No. 7 in the Coaches Poll, Remain 9th in STATS Poll

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The Panther football team jumped from No. 8 to No. 7 in the AFCA FCS Coaches Top-25 poll and remained No. 9 in the FCS STATS Top-25 poll. The polls were released Monday by the respective organizations.

UNI faces off against Weber State who moved up to No. 5 in the STATS poll and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll. It will be the lone top-10 matchup of the week in the FCS.

The Panthers improved after a 13-6 win over Idaho State in the UNI-Dome Saturday.

Saturday's game at Weber State matches two of the top defenses in the FCS. The two teams are tied for 12th in scoring defense in the nation.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT and the game will be broadcast on the Panther Radio Network and Pluto TV.
