Women's Golf Set to Play at MVC Preview

Cedar Falls, IA - The UNI women's golf team will be heading to the MVC Fall Preview on September 23-24 in Burlington, IA.Â
The Panthers will be traveling to Spirit Hollow Golf Resort in Burlington, IA. Spirit Hollow is a par 72 regulation course that stretches 6,256 yards.Â
The Panthers opened the fall season with an exhibition match against the Iowa Hawkeyes. They fell 6.5 to 1.5 in match play at Pheasant Ridge golf course in Cedar Falls. Last week the Panthers traveled to the Loyola Fall Invitational and placed 5th out of 9 teams. Hannah Bermel lead the team carding 233 over 54 holes placing T9, Sydney Eaton followed close behind with 235 tied for 12th.Â
The Panthers will have an 8 a.m. shotgun Monday morning to start the tournament.Â
