Jackson Named CoSIDA Academic All-District

CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – Alex Jackson was named to the CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District Track & Field/Cross Country Team for the second consecutive season.
Jackson maintained his 4.0 GPA and closed his career with a sixth-place finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the outdoor Missouri Valley championship. Jackson also finished eighth in the 5,000-meter run at the MVC Indoor Championship.
He was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America in 2017-18.
Jackson is now eligible for Academic All-America honors and he looks to join Karter Schult (2015, 2016) and Mary Bernhardt (1985, 1986, 1987) as the third back-to-back first-team honoree in UNI history.
