Men's Golf Set for MVC Championship

SUNRISE BEACH, Missouri - UNI men's golf are set to travel to the MVC Championship to compete April 22 and 23.
The MVC championship will take place at The Club at Porto Cima. The golf club is located right along the Lake of the Ozarks. The course is a par-72 that stretches 7,060 yards.
The meet will have a shotgun start beginning at 8:30 a.m. The teams will play 36 holes on  Monday and complete the final round on Tuesday.
UNI completed the last regular season meet at the Beu Mussatto Invitational in Macomb, Illinois on Tuesday April 16. The Panthers finished in fifth place 62 strokes behind Indian Hills.
Tommy Doyle led the team in Macomb with a 17th place finish. Doyle shot a 79 in his first round and 69 in the second round. Alex Pries and Sam Sacquitne tied each other for 27th place. The teammates both scored 152 in the 36 holes played. Â
