Panthers Tennis Falls to Milwaukee, 6-1

MILWAUKEE, Wis.—The UNI tennis team fell in competition today, 6-1, to the Milwaukee Panthers.

Claudia Toledo, in the No. 2 singles spot, earned a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Nicole Clarke for the Panthers' lone point of the match.

Davi Patterson earned her first start in the Panthers line up, falling 7-6 (4-0), 6-3 in the No. 6 singles spot.

In the No. 4 singles spot, Daisy Phillips went to a tie-breaker before falling 2-6, 6-0, 6-2 to Agata Jurczak.

Phillips and Olivia Fain earned a 6-3 victory in the No. 3 doubles spot. Toledo and Reghan Lynch battled to a 6-2 finish, falling at the No. 1 doubles spot.

The Panthers continue action this weekend as they compete at UW-Whitewater on March 9 at 12 p.m.
