CEDAR FALLS, Iowa—The UNI Panthers tennis team open Missouri Valley Conference action, hosting Drake and Missouri State this weekend.
The Drake Bulldogs come to town on April 5 for a 2 p.m. match at the UNI Tennis Complex. The Bulldogs post a 6-12 record on the season. The Panthers and Bulldogs have shared three opponents this season since meeting at the Drake Invitational this fall. Â Drake posted a 4-3 victory over the Panthers last season.
The Missouri State Bears visit the Panthers on April 6, with first-serve set for 1 p.m. The Bears post a 7-7 record on the season. The Panthers and Bears have met the same two opponents this season. Last season, the Bears posted a 5-2 victory in the regular season over the Panthers. The Bears and Panthers met in the MVC Championship match, with the Bears posting a 4-2 victory.
