Women's Golf Set to Play at Creighton Classic

Cedar Falls, Iowa - The UNI women's golf team will be traveling to Omaha, Nebraska to compete in the Creighton Classic on October 7-8th.Â
The Panthers will be playing at the Oak Hills Country Club. Oak Hills is a par 73 regulation course that stretches 5,952 yards.Â
Five teams will be competing in the Creighton Classic including, Creighton, Drake, Bellevue (Neb.), Northern Iowa, and Nebraska-Omaha.Â
The Panthers are coming off a first-place finish at the MVC Preview, carding a team total 942 after 54 holes. Hannah Bermel and Emily Snelling led the Panthers with final scores of 229, tying for 1st place. Snelling and Bermel were both named MVC Golfers of the Week.
The 36-hole event will shotgun at 10 a.m. Monday morning.
