Women's Golf Head to Rainbow Wahine Invitational

Cedar Falls, IA - The women's golf team will travel to Hawaii to compete in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational, hosted by the University of Hawaii on October 28-30th.
The Panthers will be playing at the Kapolei Golf Course in Kapolei, HI. Kapolei is a par 72 course that stretches 6,128 yards. Kapolei Golf Course has been rated one of Hawaii's Top 10 golf courses by GolfAdvisor.com, and has hosted both PGA and LPGA tournaments.Â
This year's tournament features 14 teams: British Columbia, BYU, Cal Poly, College of Charleston, CSUN, Grand Canyon, Hawai'i, Illinois State, Incarnate Word, North Dakota, Northern Iowa, Sacramento State, Sam Houston State, and Weber State.Â
The Panthers are coming off a second place finish at the Creighton Classic with Hannah Bermel leading the way with 1st place overall. Bermel was named MVC Golfer of the week for the second time this fall season.
