Peoria Ill. - UNI cross country travels to Peoria, Illinois, Friday to run in the Bradley Pink Classic. The Panthers will run in the red section at with conference schools Illinois State, Loyola, Drake and Valparaiso. The men race at 2:30 p.m. with an 8,000-meter race, followed by the women's 6,000-meter race at 3:15 p.m.

McKayla Cole has the fastest time so far this season among Missouri Valley Conference runners at the 6,000-meter distance. Freshman Cassidy Ihns has the second-fastest 6K time for the Panthers on the season. Other notable racers this weekend will be Paige Holub who is sitting 12th in the conference Haylee Luna sitting 17th and Josier Kriener. Gabby Champion takes the course for the first-time on a 6K course this season.

Wal Khat leads the UNI men and sits third in the conference for men's 8,000-meter run. Senior CJ May sitting eighth in the conference. Other notable runners for the men include junior Logan Murray sophomore Drake Henrichs sophomore Sam McCool and Freshman David Holesinger.

Friday's race will be the last race of the regular-season for the Panthers before running for the Conference title in Valparaiso, Indiana November 2nd, 2019.
