IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Panther swim and dive team opens up the season Friday, October 4 in Iowa City. They face off against the Iowa Hawkeyes and Michigan State Spartans at the Natatorium in the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center.
UNI starts the season ranked fourth in the preseason MVC coaches poll. The Panthers return three All-MVC swimmers in Katie Taylor, Kylie Engstrom, and Lauren Havertape. Taylor was a five time individual MVC champ last season while Moriah Ross added two MVC titles. Swimmers Olivia Clark and Grace Considine and diver Taylor Hogan join a long line of local athletes in the program.
