Brooke Craig went seven solid innings for UNI, notching her first complete game shutout of the season. Craig held the Aggies to two hits and no walks in the game, while striking out one batter. The win was Craig's fifth of the season, furthering her career-high for pitching wins. Four of Craig's seven starts this season have been complete games.

The finale for UNI in the Bruin Classic turned out to be an exciting one.
The Bulldogs took the Panthers to the tenth inning, where UNI was able to win on a walk-off walk. After pouring on runs in the first game of the doubleheader, the Panthers were not able to find the same consistency on offense in game two.
Jaclyn Spencer, making her ninth start of the season for UNI, went ten innings for a complete game. Spencer struck out seven batters in the game, while allowing two unearned runs. It was Spencer's sixth complete game of the season, as well as her sixth win for the Panthers. Spencer leads the UNI pitching staff in wins, innings and strikeouts.
It took UNI until the seventh inning to score, when Brittney Krodinger came home to score on a double to center field off the bat of Spencer. The Panthers would also tie the game in the bottom of the ninth, on a dropped ball by the Bulldogs' center fielder which allowed B. Krodinger to sprint home and score. UNI would ultimately win on an Abby Downs RBI walk, capping off a 4-1 Bruin Classic for the Panthers.
