MACOMB, Illinois - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team came up on the short end of match play against the host Western Illinois Leathernecks on Saturday.
UNI netted only a pair of wins from Maddie Bertsch and Sydney Eaton among the eight matches against Western Illinois.
UNI placed second overall in match play event by scoring wins on Friday over Illinois-Chicago and Green Bay.
The Leatherneck Match Play Invitational was held at the Harry Mussatto Golf Course in Macomb, Illinois.
