
UNI Golf Places 5th at Bradley Invitational

PEORIA, Illinois - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team tied for fifth, with two players finishing in the top 15, at the Bradley Invitational on Sunday.
After a weather delay during the second round on Saturday, the teams completed the remaining nine holes and the third round on Sunday.
The Panthers completed the 72-par course at the Weaver Ridge Golf Course with scores of 312-294-311, for a total of 917.
Allison Rolinger led the Panthers with scores of 76-72-77 which landed her tied for seventh. Wrapping up the back nine of the second round, Rolinger birdied No. 10, No. 11, and No. 15 to have her at par. In the third round, Rolinger birdied No. 3 and was able to par 11 holes, with seven being in the back nine.
Maddie Bertsch started the day strong in the back nine of the second round. She birdied five holes and pared three, ending the second round at -1. Bertsch kept the momentum throughout the third round with parring eight holes in the front nine and one bogey. A slight struggle in the back nine brought her to finish seven above par at the end of the round. Bertsch finished the invitational with scores of 77-71-79 and tied for eleventh.
Paige Van Dyk finished tied for 29th with scores of 80-77-77. Her strong third round finish with 14 pars, moved her up from 38th on day one.
Sarah McMichael completed the back nine of the second round with six pars and two birdies on No. 12 and No. 17. McMichael shot seven pars in the back nine during the third round to have her finish the invitational with scores of 83-74-78 and landing in 30th.
Jenna Snyder 79-89-90 kicked off her back nine of the second round birding No. 13 and No. 15. Snyder only parred three holes in the third round but finished in in 56th overall.
