Van Dyk Ties for 9th at Indiana State Spring Invite

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team wrapped up the Indiana State Spring Invite on Monday at the Country Club of Terre Haute. The Panthers played 36 holes in two days and finished in eighth place.
The par-72, 6,041-yard layout was not a tough challenge for junior Paige Van Dyk, who finished the invite tied for ninth place. Van Dyk had round scores of 76 and 78 to give her a total of 154 for the weekend. This is Van Dyk's best finish of the season.
Senior Allison Rolinger played two strong rounds, scoring 78 in both. She scored a total of 156, which put her tied for 13th overall.
Finishing in the middle of the pack was junior Maddie Bertsch. Bertsch had scores of 83 and 80 for a grand total of 163. She placed tied for 37th.
Also placing near the middle was sophomore Sarah McMichael. The Nashua native had scores of 83 and 81, placing her tied for 40th, with a invite total of 164.
Rounding out the Panthers was freshman Jenna Snyder. Snyder scored a total of 173 with round scores of 89 and 84. She ended the invite tied for 63rd.
As a whole, the Panthers finished in eighth place with a grand total of 637 for the 36 holes.
Indiana State was the invite champion after having two players tied for second place and a team total of 610.
Next up for UNI women's golf is the MVC Championship at the Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Mo., April 16-18.
