UNI Falls at North Dakota State, 2-0

FARGO, N.D. – The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team continued its North Dakota road trip Sunday afternoon, falling to the North Dakota State Bison, 2-0.
The Panthers and Bison played a physical first half trading fouls at a high rate. The deadlock featured chances for both sides until two late first-half goals gave the Bison a lead they wouldn't relinquish.
UNI attempted nine shots with six being on target. Sarah Brandt and Sydney Hayden both had two a piece, while Hannah McDevitt and Jenny Wick both had one. In goal for the Panthers was Whitney Blunt who finished the game with four saves.
The Panthers next take the filed this Friday, Aug. 26, on the road against South Dakota State. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. live stats will be available via South Dakota State athletics.
