COLLEGE STATION, Texas – University of Northern Iowa senior divers Allie Bey and Sarah Kemp both finished competition at the Zone "D" Diving Championships today.
Bey, who had competed two years prior, finished her diving career with a 3-meter dive score of 223.15. Kemp, who competed last year, finished her diving career for the Panthers with a 3-meter dive score of 233.65.
Today's completion of the NCAA Zone 'D' Championships marks the end of the 2015-16 season for UNI diving.
"Overall, I would say this is the best UNI diving performance at the NCAA Zone meet to date," said diving coach Lori Meierbachtol. "They both performed with tremendous confidence against some of the best divers in the country. I am very proud of their performance here at Zones. They both have had great careers as Panther divers, and I am so proud to have coached them these last four years!"
