The Basics: The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball program returns to the McLeod Center after spending the last three games on the road, hosting South Dakota State on Thursday, Dec. 1. The game is set to tip at 7 p.m. CT with Brad Wells and Nate Clayberg calling the action on ESPN3.

Panthers vs. The Summit League: UNI has faced off against seven of the nine teams currently in the Summit League. The Panthers have an overall record of 30-31 against the current members of the Summit League and 13-11 record under the direction of Tanya Warren after UNI's win over Denver on Nov. 26.
MVC Player of the Week (11/28): Senior Madison Weekly was named MVC Player of the Week for her performances against Oklahoma State (11/23), Idaho (11/25) and Denver (11/26). She averaged 19.0 points per game during that span.
It Sure is Grand: Senior Madison Weekly was named Co-MVP of the Grand Canyon Thanksgiving Championship (11/25-11/26) as the Panthers went 2-0 in tournament play to be named Co-Champions. Freshman Megan Maahs also earned a spot on the All-Tournament team.
Leading Scorer: Madison Weekly has scored in the 20-point range in two of the last three games, including a season-high 22 points against Denver (11/26). It was the 23rd time in her career to reach the mark.
Maahs Seeing Double: Megan Maahs has scored in double-digits in back-to-back games, scoring a career-high 16 against Denver (11/26). The freshman also put in a career-high eight free throws, going 8-for-9 from the charity stripe.
Perfect Arc: Mikaela Morgan scored a career-high 16 points against Denver (11/26), including going 4-for-4 from the three point line in the first half. She is shooting 46-percent from the arc this season, ranking her sixth in the MVC.
From the Three: Madison Weekly knocked down three three-pointers against Denver (11/26), moving her into a tie for fourth all-time at UNI in career threes made. She currently has 202 through 98 careers games.
On the Boards: Hannah Schonhardt led the Panthers in rebounds with six against Idaho (11/25) and nine against Denver (11/26). Her nine against the Pioneers pushed her over 500-career rebound mark, giving her 501 through 104 career games. She is just the 20th player in UNI history to have 500-plus rebounds, ranking her No. 18 all-time at UNI.
Perfect Across the Board: True freshman Abby Gerrits went a perfect 3-for-3 from the field in the first half against Idaho (11/25) while Taylor Hagen finished the game 4-for-4 for a career-high eight points, adding a career-high six boards.
Dime Game: Madison Weekly is averaging 4.2 assists per game through six games this season, including a career-high seven dimes against Iowa State (11/15). She currently ranks second in the Valley in assists with 25.
Top Five: Senior Hannah Schonhardt has hit seven field goals from the arc this season, bringing her three-pointers made total to 58. Although she might not shoot from deep often, she is consistent, ranking No. 5 all-time at UNI in career three-point percentage.
Warren Gets Defensive: UNI is 114-17 under the direction of head coach Tanya Warren when holding an opponent to 60 points or less. Five of UNI's top-10 scoring defense averages in school history have come during the Warren era.
