UNI Completes MVC Preview

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team completed in the MVC Preview at Dalhousie Country Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on Monday.
Junior Paige VanDyk had a few good strokes during the three-round, par-72 course. She birdied No. 2 and No. 15 in the first round, which led her to a round finish of 74. The second round proved fruitful as she saw a total of four birdies and ended the round with her season-best score of 72. VanDyk ended the MVC Preview tied for 15th overall.
Sophomore Sarah McMichael, followed suit and saw a birdies at No.2 and No.17 holes in the first round. In the second round, she had one birdie on No.3. McMichael tied her season-best with a round-two score of 79.
Senior Allison Rolinger was able to get a birdie on No.8 as well as No.16 in the second round and recorded her season-best round score of 75. Rolinger ended the tournament tied for 46th overall.
