CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – The UNI wrestling team returns to the West Gym to host two weekend MAC duals after more than a month of competition on the road.
Â
The Panthers open the weekend with Central Michigan 7 p.m. Friday and wrap up with Ohio at 2 p.m. Sunday. CMU and Ohio are tied for third in the conference rankings, while UNI moved into second place behind Missouri.

UNI is coming off a dominant 24-12 win over Old Dominion.
Â
Central Michigan edged out Ohio 16-15 on Jan. 10. CMU dropped its next duals to Missouri and Michigan leading up to this weekend's meet.

Ohio is on a three-dual win streak with victories over Buffalo, Northern Illinois and Clarion. The Bobcats' last loss was Jan. 15 to Kent State, 20-15.

HONORARY CAPTAINS
In honor of Military Appreciation Night, the Panthers wanted to honor one of their own. Lt. Col. Greg White will be back in the West Gym after more than two decades of military service. White wrestled for UNI, earning a spot at the NCAA tournament in 1990. While wrestling at UNI, he was a member of the ROTC program. White has served in numerous assignments stateside and overseas. He retired from the Army Special Services as a Green Beret in 2012. His awards and decorations include Combat Action Badge, the Legion of Merit, Senior Parachutists Badge, two Bronze Stars for Service, the Distinguished Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, four Army Commendation Medals and the Army Achievement Medal.
White and his wife, Veronica, live in Valrico, Florida, with their two daughters, Sophia and Gabriella.
Sean Stender is also being honored Friday night. Stender is from Donahue, Iowa. He lives in Bondurant, Iowa, and works as a surgical representative for Karl Storz Endoskope. He and his wife, Heather, have a 1-year-old son, Owen.
In 2005, Stender became the first three-time All-American for UNI since Justin Greenlee earned the honor in 1995.
Greenlee will be honored for his UNI wrestling career at Sunday's dual. Greenlee was a two-time finalist at the NCAA tournament. He is one of the 13 Panthers to become a three-time Division I All-American.
After graduating from UNI, Greenlee attended veterinary school at Iowa State where he taught for five years. He still lives and works in Ames. He and his wife, Heather, have two daughters and a son.

REMATCHES
At 125 pounds, Dylan Peters beat CMU's Brent Fleetwood in an 8-3 decision last year. At 165 pounds, Cooper Moore beat Jordan Wohlfert of Central Michigan at last year's dual, 6-3. Jared Bartel will have the chance to avenge a 9-3 loss to Ohio's Phil Wellington. Bartel and Wellington met at the 2014 MAC Championships. Heavyweight Blaize Cabell has beaten Central Michigan's Adam Robinson in the last two dual meetings. He won by major decision in 2014 and by decision in 2015. He also beat Jesse Webb of Ohio by major decision at last year's dual.

Cabell: The two-time NCAA champion was second at last year's MAC tournament. He was third as a sophomore, which was the first year wrestling at heavyweight. His undefeated dual season last year has him tied for eighth among all Panthers for the most dual victories in a season.
