UNI MEN'S BASKETBALL NOTES VS. RICHMOND
• UNI will travel to Richmond, Va., on Saturday to take on the Richmond Spiders. Tip is set for 5 p.m. (CT) at the Robins Center.
• Last season, UNI recorded a 55-50 victory over Richmond in the McLeod Center.
• UNI ranks No. 7 in the nation in field goal shooting (52.3 percent).
• Over its last three games, UNI is shooting 57.4 percent (93-of-162) from the field - including 50.8 percent from 3-point land (32-of-63).
• UNI is scoring 82.0 points per game in 2015-16, which ranks as the second-highest single-season average in the last 46 years of Panther basketball. UNI averaged 85.1 points per game in the 1988-89 season.
• For the first time since the 1993-94 season, UNI has tallied back-to-back 90-point scoring games with its 97-51 win at North Dakota and its 93-70 victory over North Texas.

• The NCAA recognizes teams in the top-10 percent of the Academic Progress Report. The UNI men's basketball program is the only Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball school to be listed in the top 10 percent in each of the last three years.
• UNI is one of 14 schools to have won 30 or more games twice in the last six seasons.
SCOUTING RICHMOND
The Richmond Spiders are off to a 4-3 start to the season.
The Spiders have scored wins over Steton (108-85), at Wake Forest (91-82), vs. Bethune-Cookman (89-64) and vs. No. 14-ranked California (94-90).
Richmond is coming off a 76-56 loss at Florida on Monday.
Terry Allen leads the Spiders in scoring at 21.1 points per game.
THE ONLY MEETING
UNI posted a 55-50 victory over Richmond last season in the McLeod Center in the only meeting between the two schools.
Wes Washpun scored 16 points off the bench. UNI limited Richmond to 15 first-half points.
PANTHERS CAN SCORE IT
UNI has opened the season by scoring 70 or more points in each of its first six games - the first time the Panthers have achieved that since the 2004-05 season.
UNI scored 70 or more points in each of its first nine games in the 2004-05 season en route to a 21-11 mark and an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.

UNI improved to 37-5 when scoring 80 more more points under head coach Ben Jacobson. UNI has scored 80 or more points in three consecutive games.
BACK-TO-BACK 90-POINT GAMES
For the first time since the 1993-94 season, UNI has tallied back-to-back 90-point scoring games with its 97-51 win at North Dakota and its 93-70 victory over North Texas.
The last time it happened, UNI notched a 92-72 win over Bradley on Feb. 7, 1994, and then followed it up with a 102-79 victory at Drake on Feb. 12, 1994.
UNI'S 3-POINT STREAK
UNI has made at least one 3-pointer in 501 straight games – the longest active streak in the Missouri Valley Conference.
The last time UNI failed to make a 3-point basket came Feb. 3, 2000, vs. Southern Illinois in a 72-58 Panther victory in the UNI-Dome. UNI went 0-for-4 from 3-point land vs. the Salukis in that contest.
BENNETT NETS CAREER-HIGHS
Sophomore center Bennett Koch posted a pair of career-highs at North Dakota with 12 points and eight rebounds.
WES IS DISHING AT A RECORDPACE

KLINT CHIPS IN
Sophomore Klint Carlson poured in 15 points on 5-of-6 shooting at North Dakota. It marked the first double-figure scoring game of Carlson's career.
BO KEEPS KNOCKING 'EM IN
Senior guard Matt Bohannon has drained a team-best 18 three-pointers through the first six games.
He has made at least one 3-pointer in 16 straight games - dating back to last season.
MORGAN IS MAKING PLAYS
Junior guard Jeremy Morgan has shown he can do it all this season from scoring and rebounding to defending.
Morgan leads the team in field goal percentage (.684), free throws made (22), rebounds (37), blocks (4) and steals (11). He ranks second on the team in scoring at 13.8 points per game.
Morgan's steal of Joel Berry II's pass with :08 left and ensuing free throw helped clinch UNI's 71-67 victory over No. 1 North Carolina (Nov. 21).
FOR STARTERS
UNI's starting five consists of Matt Bohannon, Paul Jesperson, Bennett Koch, Jeremy Morgan and Wes Washpun.
Bohannon and Morgan are the two returning starters from last year's 31-4 Panther squad.
Jesperson started 33 career games at the University of Virginia before transferring to UNI. Prior to this season, Jesperson's last start came at Virginia on March 27, 2013 vs. Iowa in the NIT.
Washpun started 29 games as a sophomore for the Panthers. His last start previous the pair this season came March 7, 2014, in the MVC Tournament vs. Southern Illinois.
