Panther Women Take 15th Place at UALR Women's Golf Classic

The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team finished in 15th place at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Women's Golf Classic in Hot Springs, Ark. UNI shot 318 as a team for the final round on Tuesday to end with a team score of 318-315-318--951 (+87).
Ann Arnason posted a 71 in the second round of the Xavier Invitational on Oct. 13, 2007.
Ann Arnason shot 243, Katie Tabbert shot 246, and Abby Bermel rounded out the UNI competitors at 265.
The host institution, University of Arkansas-Little Rock, won the event with a team score of 305-288-300--893 (+29). Crystal Reeves of Oral Roberts took medalist honors by a five-stroke margin, shooting a three-under par 213.
The UNI women's golf squad will continue its spring season at the Hotels at Grand Prairie Collegiate Classic in Peoria, Ill., on Apr. 5-6.
