UNI Women's Golf Finishes in Tenth at Jackrabbit Invitational

The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team took tenth place at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Primm, Nev., to open its spring season. The Panthers posted a 313 team score on the final day of competition to finish with a team card of 307-315-313--935.
UNI was led by sophomore Brittany Atterbury, who shot a final-round 76 to finish in a tie for 16th place in the individual standings. Atterbury totaled a 75-75-76--226 for the tournament to finish at 10-over par.
Sophomores Ann Arnason shot a final-round 79 to finish at 241 for 54 holes. Abby Bermel rounded out the Panther competitors at 265.
Oral Roberts University fired a 292 over the final 18 holes to take the team championship by a two-stroke margin over Missouri State. Olivia Lansing of Drake won individual medalist honors by five strokes, shooting a 71 for the final round to finish with a 3-under par 213.
UNI will return to action on Mar. 29-30 at the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Women's Golf Classic in Hot Springs Village, Ark.
