
UNI Women's Golf Tied in Ninth Place after Day One of Jackrabbit Invitational

The University of Northern Iowa women's golf team stands in a tie for ninth place after the first day of competition at the Jackrabbit Invitational in Primm, Nev. The event, hosted by South Dakota State University, marks the first action of the spring season for the Panthers.
UNI posted a team score of 307-315--622 (+46) through the first two rounds, which puts them in a tie with Oakland University for ninth place among the 16 teams in the event.
Sophomore Brittany Atterbury paced the Panthers with a 75-75--150 card to finish the first day at six-over par. She is currently tied in ninth place in the individual standings. Katie Tabbert shot a 76-78--154 (+10) and Blair Bonner shot a 74-82--156 (+12) to round out the Panthers' top three performers on the opening day.
Bonner's first-round 74 marks her new season-low round.
Olivia Lansing of Drake leads the individual race with a 72-70--142 (-2). Missouri State leads the team standings with a 303-296--599 (+23).
Play will conclude with the third and final round on Tuesday, Mar. 16.
