Panthers Wrap-Up Weekend at ISU Classic

AMES, Iowa – The University of Northern Iowa men's and women's track teams wrapped up competition Saturday evening at the ISU Classic in Ames, Iowa.
The men's 4x400 meter relay quartet of Cory Goos, Dennis Hammel took ninth place in the event with a time of 3:13.66.
Giorgio Giurdanella finished sixth in the 60-meter dash, clocking in at 6.88.
Beau Dielschneider took twelfth place in the 800 meter run with a season-best time of 1:50.22.
Cory Goos took seventh place in the 400 meter dash, also recording a season-best time of 47.94.
In the women's 400 meter dash Sam Cameron shaved two seconds off her previous career-best time, clocking in at 55.02 to take fourth place.
The Panthers return to action next weekend, hosting the UNI-Dome Open Friday, Feb. 19.
