Panther Runners Initiate Season at Hawkeye Invitational

The University of Northern Iowa men's and women's cross country squads got their season underway at the Hawkeye Invitational held at the Ashton Cross Country course in Iowa City.
The Panther women were led by sophomore Carly Olsen, who scored an 11th place finish with a time of 10:50.78 on the 3K course.
The UNI men's top finisher was Brett Egan, who covered the 6K course in a time of 19:42.77. Egan finished in eighth place in the individual standings.
