Reid Bows Out in Semifinals of 400 Meter Dash

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - University of Northern Iowa senior Terrance Reid wrapped up his stellar career for the Panthers Friday evening at 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, just missing the finals in the 400 meter dash.
Despite clocking in a season-best time of 46.08, Reid finished seventh in his heat and 13th overall.
Florida State's Jonathan Borlee clocked in the fastest semifinal time at 45.25.
Reid finishes his career in the Purple and Gold as one of the most decorated athletes in school history, racking up seven All-American honors in the 400 meter dash and 4x400 meter relay.
The Panthers will wrap up the 2009 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships tomorrow afternoon as senior Tyler Mulder will take to the track for the last time in the Purple and Gold, attempting to earn his eighth All-America honor.
