Cold Shooting Dooms Panthers in Loss to No. 1 Maryland

The Panthers' shooting improved to 30 percent (10-of-33) in the second half, but Maryland shot 60 percent (18-of-30) from the floor in that period to lead by as many as 45 in the game and take a 77-33 win.
"I think the tough part about this is that we just did not shoot the ball well," UNI head coach Tony DiCecco said. "We did a lot of the little things that we were working on, but we weren't able to make our shots."
